The distinct voice

Clarity, authority, and accountability — held calmly.

Across her career in finance and risk leadership and her work with boards, one theme recurs: boards rarely struggle for lack of commitment. They struggle when authority is unclear, when pressure changes behaviour, and when accountability scatters. The Calm Board is her response — a methodology that gives boards a shared language for role, behaviour, and the discipline of return.

The Calm Board sits alongside The Calm Edge™ in the KalmCompass™ body of work: one develops the room, the other develops the individual leader.

"A board is not tested by how smoothly it moves through the agenda, but by whether it can hear what the room has not yet named." — Idalin McKenzie
